DD (almost 6) has her first wiggly tooth. It's only a little bit wiggly. When I looked in there today, her adult tooth has already erupted behind it and seems like it's quite far back behind the baby tooth. Does that sound normal??
The dental nurse is going to be at school in a couple of weeks so no doubt she'll check it out. I was just a little concerned because none of the other kids have ever had that before.

Yep, it's pretty common and the tongue will eventually push the adult tooth forward and the baby one will fall out .

Nearly all my son's teeth have errupted before the old tooth fell out. I have to encourage wiggling! His teeth have mostly moved into place although his jaw is small at the moment so everything looks a bit jumbled.

Glad to read this as my daughter's got the same thing at the moment.
I'm actually hoping that the bottom adult teeth that have come through don't move forward as currently she has an overbite - bottom teeth close over the front top teeth - but so far looks like the two adult ones coming through are far enough back that this won't happen?
Hopefully, as it sounds like she may need braces down the track if it doesn't fix itself.
