Thought I might start this thread here rather than in the parenting boards as I think it tends to get lost there and hard to find...........so post away once your darling long awaited bubs has arrived - and talk nothing but baby talk.........

Yep, there was a thread on the Parenting board. I tried posting there but it got a bit lonely so I gave up! Keen to post here though....hope everyone and their babies are doing well.....blardy hot and stick in Auckland today. I'm procrastinating about doing house work while bubs (not so much a baby anymore - he's 1!!) takes his arvo sleep. Think I might go grab a fruju from the freezer and surf the net instead!

Yep, the thread on parenting was just too hard to find and I kept forgetting to check in!! I'm always lurking here to find out how everyone is getting on.

That is what I thought too as most people who have been here come back to lurk........nice to be able to one-stop post....LOL
TA - I can wait because that more that have their babies the closer I am to having mine......LOL..........I told DH the other night I wanted everythign sorted by 35weeks, and he just mumbled that was ages away until I showed him the list and took him it was only 7 weeks away..........LOL..........
How is Jess going? Do you have another appt coming up soon?
Luckily not too much to get sorted for the baby as I will use most of DD's stuff.

Madmum, I wasn't organised AT ALL when baby decided to make an entrance at 36 weeks, so 35 weeks is a good plan!
Hey everyone!

Ooh I can relate to that madmum - my daughter was an angel, took to bfing no probs, slept through at 7 weeks, ate anything she could get her hands on...good thing cos I was only 22 and didn't really know what I was doing. This time, 7 years on, with a lot more knowledge and reading under my belt - I have a little rascal who won't sleep through the night, had food intolerance issues and isn't taking to solids at all! Aargh! Love him to bits though Yeah, and hurry up Annie. I don't know why, but your pregnancy seems to be lasting twice as long as everyone elses lol!

Hi everyone. Sarahjay told me that this thread had started up, so I'd thought I'd pop in and say hello! Nice to meet you yesterday Sarahjay, your daughter and son are gorgeous! And so are you of course! Sorry Jaymie was being such a sook, but hey I don't mind if she wants to be Mumma's girl for a while. Hi to everyone else, hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Here's one of my lastest favourite photos of Jaymie:

Was lovely to meet you too Lou! Felt like I'd known you for ages because of chatting on various threads! OMG Jaymie is just so pretty. I felt like she was one of those popular girls at school and I wanted her to like me more than anything else - lol!! I'll try not to take the crying personally My boy is six months tomorrow, sob. And our biggest news - he has a tooth and started crawling on Thursday after the meet up at Emilys!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHP03eB3L-0

Thanks for the lovely comments Madmum, PM & Sarahjay! Nah don't take it personally Sarahjay, she's doing it with everyone right now! Marcus is so advanced with his crawling and he's so strong. Jaymie's got a lot of catching up to do!

Oh nooooooo!!! The washing is never done at the best of times - you don't need this!
Totally insane day trying to get these girls to sleep today. They resist and then get sleep deprived and then are too beside themselves to fall asleep. Arrrghhh!!!

Thanks Ruth ... hehehe, she is 6 weeks on Sunday so I will start the clock from then!
Eve - The worst thing about the sheets is that I splurged last week and bought some brand new ones ... 400 thread count, Egyptian cotton sateen sheets ... eeekk! I'm hoping like hell the napi san will do the trick as I was soooo proud of my new sheets!

Hehehe - it is amazing how their poo changes once you introduce solids, apparently it is quite smelly with formula too. My DD never really got less frequent with her poos unfortunately, she always did several good ones a day.......
I would love Egyption cotton sheets............when I am back at work maybe...........
Eve - must be hard with the two of them not settling, and over-tiredness is a b*tch.......in babies and mummies.....LOL......
Glad you bumped this up (even though I am not a new-mum again I am a mum after infertility)....LOL......

Oh no, on new sheets! We are getting poo almost every feed at the moment, it is very tiring. DH gets cranky because he changes them in the night and then they do another poo straight after so he has to do it again!!!! Boy, we are pretty frayed at the moment ... BUT, I broke my record and had an 8am shower this morning, instead of 11.30am as usual (or 12.30pm yesterday)!!!

Eve, know how your DH feels as Matthew is pooing every nappy and within 5 mins of changing him does another.
Had Matthew at docs the other nite as didnt sleep a wink all day and kept screaming after each feed which he wanted every 2hrs then about 8.30pm just screamed and screamed and screamed (which could have been overtiredness) with knees up and arched back. So they have put him on renitadine for reflux. Finally he went to sleep at midnight on me in bed. Plus have to stagger his feeds to 3 mins on then 3 mins off to get him to bring up his wind, up to 3-4 times. Seems to be working as not as much screaming after feeding plus have induced a dummy to calm him down plus helps with wind.
Now he has decided that sleeping during the day is a no go. Bloody hard when you have things that need to be done but hopefully he will sort himself out shortly.
Other then that just luv our wee man.
Sorry about the me me me post but I know you girls will understand.
Glad to here that you Annie are doing fine with Jucy Lucy. Those explosions are not nice at the best of times but on your new sheets....
Had better go as Matthew due to wake for a feed (OMG he is sleeping) and have a few things to do before I take my sister to the airport...
Take Care of yourselves
