Yes you can totally decide who you want to donate too, clinics can give you information about potential parents. You have to have joint counselling with those you are considering donating too and an ongoing open relationship is very much encouraged.
Our daughter is such a huge blessing to our life and we are soooo greatful to her biological parents for allowing us to "adopt" her. They are involved in her life in an Aunty/ Uncle type relationship and we have contact with her biological grandparents too. We would love another child (since a little girl I have always pictured my family having 4or 5kids), but unfortunately the likelyhood for us being chosen for either another embryo adoption, or a domestic adoption are very slim when our current culture seems to have stigma against "large" families (though in this rural area where we live having 4+ children is very much the norm) and especially those with infertility issues are expected to ignore any desire to have more than one or two children.
