Hi my partnerhas a soy allergie. I make all yummy things at home ie:cookies, slices, cakes, scones, crackers etc... Heaps cheaper and you get the satisfaction that you made them yourself plus they taste better!! :O)
I had hoped there would have been some ideas when I needed them a few months ago! But since then I've figured out a few things my nearly 9 month old can eat that are soy free (and dairy free) and appropriate for babies starting solids and teething.
-Orgran Crispibites- these are like cruskits and go soggy in tiny bits so no choking -Corn cakes (like rice cakes, but ONLY corn) -Orgran animal biscuits -Nairns oatcakes -Homemade breadmaker plain bread recipes (minus the milk powder for dairy allergic babies) -Dovedale breads I think are all soy, dairy and gluten free, we used the chia bread made with rice flour
Thanks for sharing. There are also some ideas on www.glutenawareness.org.nz but of course these are all gluten free too. I'm rebuilding the directory at the moment so it is a little chaotic...
