Can anyone recommend a dairy free probiotic to try on my 11mth old dairy-allergic son.

I found one NZ company that said they make probiotics in a dairy-free base. I emailed them to check if it was suitable (& dosage) to use on a baby but have yet to hear back from them.

Any help appreciated.

This is the one I have used most recently and it is available in pharmacies: http://www.kyolic.com/html/products/probiotics/kyodophiluscaps.htm#supfacts I think it is less than $30 but there are different size bottles and there are other versions in the same brand e.g. one that contains less bugs plus digestive enzymes but we didn't find this so useful.

We use the same as Claire and powder is good because easier to put in their water etc... For Jemmas age of 13 mths I was advised to give 1/4t a day rather than the 1/2t for older children and adults

The kyodophlis is a powder inside a capsule which can be opened.
