OK, so we 'seem' to mostly have Alex's reflux under control by using gaviscon liquid twice a day. He still has times where he spills/ vomits like crazy, and times when he just screams, but he does now sleep reasonably well at night - 3 hourly feeds but straight back to sleep.
So now I'm wondering if long term use of gaviscon is going to cause any problems? Plus I've heard it becomes less effective over time?
Currently I think he has 'high acid' times during the day, and if we get the gaviscon into him smartly it really does seem to help, he's on 1 mil.
Will we be able to keep doing this, or is constant use of gaviscon bad for him?
