Have just had an email response finally from Caitlins paed.....and yes we are to increase her losec dose to 30mg daily....how do I split this as she is currently on 10mg twice a day. Do I give 15mg morning and night of 10mg morning and 20mg at night??

He also said it sounds as though we are going to be needing surgery .
We see him at the start of December, so guess that will be discussed further then.

When we had Katey on 30mg we did 10mg morning and 20mg night.

Hi just started on 30 GP suggested 10am 20pm, two days so far and we are seeing a small improvement, the DR said more at night might help settle the reflux over night.

Thanks everyone.....we have decided on 10mg morning and 20mg night......will let you know if we see an improvement...fingers, toes and eyes crossed!!!
