Hi Everyone,

I thought I should introduce myself.

This is the short version of our story, my son started showing reflux symptoms at 3 weeks, was diagnosed with silent reflux at 6 weeks and prescribed gaviscon, onto Zantac at 9 weeks. His dosage was increased almost every week until he was 13 weeks old when he suddenly (over a few days) got completely better. This coincided with his last osteopath treatment, at which the Osteopath said that his cranial rhythm had greatly improved as she could barely feel it when she first started seeing him, this could be a coincidence, but I think that it was the osteopathy that helped him get past his reflux. (I realise that osteopathy is not normally the cure for reflux but can help. I don't want to get anyones hopes up, but this is what worked for us). He has been reflux free for 2 months now and is not on any medication any more, I am optimistic that things will continue this way, but I watch out just in case his symptoms return.

During that time I am not sure how I made it thru (Everyday I thought I can make it thru today and I can make it thru tomorrow and that's all I need to know). Crying Over Spilt Milk was a great help, it is full of information and the only site I found that actually goes beyond the basics of "what is reflux?" I don't know what I would have done with out it. I wanted to do something to help others in the same situation, and I have a background in programming so I asked Roz if I could help out with the site.

You have probably seen Roz's posts about the new recipe section, this is what I have been working on (and still am). Recipes are viewable to anyone, and you can add your own recipes if you signup to Crying Over Spilt Milk, this is seperate from the Everybody forums and the MSN site, tho you can use the same username if you like. Anyone is able to signup and it is not limited to GRSNNZ members.
Next I will be working on a recipe search, and then comments and ratings.

If you have any technical questions/problems with the interactive part of Crying Over Spilt Milk let me know.

Aleisha
