Ok, any help here would be really appreciated.

We are pulling our hair out with DS. He is having unbelievable tempers, yelling, heaps of crying......just nothing like his usual happy self.

We have been free of the nasty reflux for about 8 months with Alex (medication free anyway, providing we are gluten and dairy free).

He has been behaving this way for almost 2 weeks now, but on Wedndsday this week he underwent emergency surgery for an internal abscess (so we put down the moods etc prior to Wed to infection), now he seems to be getting worse instead of better and crying/yelling outbursts all the time.
I am sure we have the surgery pain under control (is taking regular pamol), is still taking antibiotics for the infection. But tonight he is complaining that he is sore in his chest and throat and feeling burpy........so maybe we are seeing some reflux symptoms again????
He was given a sedation for surgery that would lessen the chances of reflux (so I was told), but guess anything is possible with reflux???

Any thoughts?? Please dont tell me its the terrible twos a year late!!! Dont think I would cope!!

We are booked for more surgery in 6 weeks if he heals sufficiently within that time, so if we are seeing the return of reflux symptoms we will need to well controlled by then.
