Yep, I've got no problem with my morning face (I'm not one for much makeup etc anyway... I usually just wear a bit of lippie) but my hair is a whole other story, it flattens out like a pancake and then I get this spot where it looks like I'm bald because it flattens out over my cowlick. It's lurvly giggle

Actually, maybe I will retract that because there are some mornings when I wake up and my face has to be jimmied off the pillow because I've been drooling and laying in it, you get the drift giggle

It doesn't bother me. I don't generally wear make up and all I do is brush my hair and clean my teeth. My eyes are a little puffy first thing and I'm never very cheery, but I'm not embarrassed about how I look.

Well since i never wear make up and dont see how i look then yes.
Actually i have often stumbled out of bed and rolled into my coffee shop 1/2 asleep smilelol So have shown my whole neighbourhood my morning face!

That said, i generally try to remember to brush my hair before leaving the house. (and teeth of course cos i have dreadful morning breath)

Hell yeah! My hair would be a bit unruely (spl?) and may look a bit washed out but not at all embarrassed. I only ever wet my hair and put on some tinted moisturiser and if your lucky some eyeliner so no worries at all

Wow, those women were horrible to themselves! frown they looked totally fine, but they were talking as if they had some tragic disfigurement. I just don't get that, i found it sad :-/
Anyway yep I would - I often walk out the door having done nothing more than clean my teeth.

I'm with you Linz - no way! I wouldn't even pop to the supermarket without makeup and it wasnt until this year that I would leave the house without perfectly straightend hair.

You just never know who you might run in too and it always pays to make a good impression smile

i think that's so misleading though, as most before and after pictures are; the 'before' ones are terribly shot in poor lighting, most of the 'after' pics are nicely posed, in nice light, they may or may not have been retouched to make them look better (i would go with may, but, you know, i'm cynical wink ) but even without that, theres a lot of work gone into them to make them look 'nicer'. if you had a picture of the person first thing in the morning and then you had a picture of them with the same camera, in the same place, yada yada yada - THAT would be a better representation.

i almost never wear makeup, occasionally i will wear some tinted moisturiser, sometimes i wear some mascara but it makes my eyes itch and i end up looking like a raccoon. never wear lippy, i can't be faffed. sometimes i straighten my hair if i want to try and look a bit more professional; it has taken me 30 years to appreciate the crazy wave thing it has going on, but then it's also too short at the moment to wear out without looking like i'm wearing a teepee.. i need to figure out what i want to do with it. not only do i not have the time to spend hours in front of the mirror every day i just... don't have the interest. i guess generally i think i look okay the way i am wink

Yeah, I would. I probably look like crap most of the time giggle. I don't really wear make-up and my hair is normally a "that'll-do" affair.

As a volunteer firefighter I often have to just leap out of bed, throw overalls on (or go in my PJs) and rush to the station. I have seen a quite unfortunate picture of myself in Pooh-Bear PJ's sitting on the floor of the fire station recomissioning some gear - I wondered why the cop at the housefrie was giving me such a weird look!

My morning face is it for the day, so yep.

The only time I leave the house without make up on is on the mornings that I go for a swim straight after school drop off, and after my swim I always put some make up on. I prefer the made up look on myself, which really is just a light touch of foundation, some mascara and a bit of lip gloss. Nothing major, just enough that I feel "done".

In some of those professional photos their hair colour is even different! I rarely wear makeup (well mostly to work, but not in the weekends) and I don't bother to straighten my hair unless it's for work, so I generally look really different too. My dh doesn't like makeup, but when I go full out he still goes wow when I walk into the room giggle

Yeah wouldn't bother me at all. I have straight fine hair though so no matter how I sleep it looks pretty much the same.

Me too. In fact I look the same as my morning face. Not to say that's a good thing hahahaha

(I have to confess, I don't even brush my hair. My teeth yes, my hair? No)

Yeah - I don't even own any make up (don't want to), usually spend about 1 min fixing my hair with a few clips , cleanse & facecream, brush teeth, done.

Don't choose to use my precious time on stuff like hair straighteners - too many other better things to do!!
