Hi Camom,

I only had bleeding the same day with the punch biopsy, and about a week after a LLETZ (which the doc seemed to think was a lot). I guess it depends how sensitive your cervix is though maybe?

I take it you have one coming up - all the best with it all smile

I had a punch biopsy but I think it was the vaginal wall. The gyn didn't warn me how much I would bleed, and it gave me quite a fright... I ended up in bed for the afternoon afterwards. shocked

I can't remember how long it went on for, though. (was nearly five years ago)

But then I had a bit of bleeding with my smear yesterday, and its still ouchy today, so I think I am quite sensitive!

Thanks sequina and G*A*

I did the Mr Google and apparently up to a week of bleeding is considered normal. Over 2 weeks and it needs reporting (and/or smelly discharge, ongoing pain and fever obviously)

Day 3 and I'm still going, but it's pretty minimal. I am a bleeder though. I was still bleeding at each of my 6 week check ups post-delivery whaaat Annoying, but just me thumbsup2
