I know! Is it one of those "you don't know what you're missing out on until you've tried it" type things?

Imagine replacing some trolleys and watching them all learn how easy it can be to push a trolley! Instead of being a full on back twisting, arm strengthening feat of super power.

Really LC? I've never seen a normal one here, only 4 wheel drive ones.

And yeah the trick is you have to drift - you are then all good grin

The only time it is a freaking mission is when I go to one Aldi near us and the blardy pavement is sloped to the side and it is near impossible to drive a full 4-wheeled trolley down a long pathway that is sloped to the side of the road hairout

Yeah - I've got the supermarket bit down ok - it's the blardy carpark - they are never level and you have a trolley full of crap with a child in the seat and holding your toddler's hand......nightmare hairout

Ok, so then you pair the fully trolley/slope/toddler and baby with the fact my car is so old that the hydrolic things on the boot often don't work, and I have some really great bruises on my arm from it being slammed by the (very fricking heavy) boot!

I hate sloping concrete with those trolleys and with DS in the seat thing and a full load of food it's SO hard to control. I'm just not physically strong enough to do it and it buggers my bad hip.

Ooh, yikes, what did you have to pay for the bloodtests Clueless?

I remember when they made it so lab tests weren't fully covered for a while - the gap was $80 each time so I'd hate to think of costs if you had to pay for the whole thing. So glad they changed it back to no gap!

omg - I would definately pay $9 for online shopping!

Getting medicare cards is relatively easy. So long as you have the right documentation you just go along, fill out a form (ok a few forms!) and they give you a temporary card then and there smile

Man I'm grumpy!
I found out yesterday that I'm not eligible for a student transport concession frown It means my transport to TAFE is now $190/month instead of $235 for 6 months. Bah humbug.

Yeah, it really is discrimination isn't it. I said to DH that I'm almost tempted to take the Vic govt to wherever the hell you take them for discrimination.

shocked Jeez HC - that SUX frown That would really piss me off!

How's it going though? First week this week wasn't it?

I made a friend today!!! We met at a park and turns out she only moved to this area from Melbourne city recently so she asked for my number. Yay! That's 2 people I actually 'know' since being here 3 weeks. Not bad. Although one is from here - thanks so much HC for our coffee last week - was so good to talk to someone that wasn't the IL's!
