Yay for getting away on holidays We managed a grand total of one night camping before the weather packed up Just haven't been able to get away this year. I'm hoping we'll be able to go away in the Easter holidays.

Got a message today that they have a place for Lucas at kindy I'm not sure how he's going to cope, but special ed will be working with him and hopefully applying for a teacher aid for him too, so I guess I just have to let him go and hope it's a good thing for him.

Awesome news that Lucas can start kindy, and yay that special Ed is going to work with him and fingers crossed for the teacher aid, Zoe was under special Ed, I found them fantastic here.

Yes I found it very weird that I had to stay, I think they were just being lazy, they did have five new ones all starting the same day, so I am pleased I have slowly done it so I know that he is happy, he is very happy and can't wait for tomorrow, he has been talking about it all weekend, and yay Zoe is super excited about school tomorrow.

Not much happening in our household, just a nice quiet weekend, just brought a high chair for osten off trademe for $60 such a bargain!!

Hiya gals Back from our lovely 3 nights away at Ohope. Our mates friends' own the top 10 campground there so our 'camping' turned out to be a flash as 2 bed apartment DH, Ava & Lola slept in the tent though! As did our friend and his DD1. Was such a lovely time away, amazing facilities - we will def go back!

L's first day at Monte tomorrow, shes a bit excited, bless. So cool as she knows quite a few of the kids there (friends etc) and she knows all the teachers. I'm sure she will love it

A's doing so amazingly well with her arm, trooper Hasn't stopped her hooning around at 100km/hr on her bike and stuff. She's not happy about the no swimming thing but does 'get it'. She's not really into just paddling so she's missing out. There was an awesome pool at the campground with two big waterslides. L wasn't keen to have a go, A was of course busting to go but couldnt' and O had an absolute blast on them with me - CRAZY baby!

Hi Mrs P Great to 'see' you. I'm sure Lucas will have a blast at kindy too, sucks that you have to push so hard with getting help for him though. I have a friend with a child with special needs and she's constantly annoyed at how hard she has to work to get him help he's due.

All is well with us. M had her first day back at school yesterday and had her turn as star of the day so she was delighted. Zara is grand, had a strange angry rash up her arms and legs last week but luckily its calmed now. Had a fantastic time over the school hols but glad schools back as the kids have been at each other and driving us crazy Canterbury has hit the 10k mark for aftershocks, crazy amount but we don't feel all of those thankfully!

I hope Ava's coping OK with her cast. I reckon she'll be a real celebrity at school I remember being jealous of kids with casts, lol.

So the kindy teacher stuffed up and there's no space for Lucas until March 5th. But all good, I'm going to do visits with him once a week until then and the special ed teacher is coming to come then and do her assessments. I'm relieved that something's finally being done for him, there has been a lot of battling to get to this stage. And I still have more battling to get his right ear tested. Audiologist wants to wait 12mo

No way to waiting 12mths to have his ear tested MrsP Sounds like a good plan having the March start date and doing visits I had O booked in to start at daycare 1 day a week from this week but have postponed until next month.....not even sure I will be able to do it then Haha to 3 on the airbed, you are much braver than me

Since my last post A has had her temp cast replaced with a waterproof one! Highly recommend paying for one of those if any of your littlies ever need a cast. Such freedom for her! Poor thing has had such a rough couple of weeks. Throat infection 2nd day into school (but of course didn't want to stay home!!!!!!!!!!) then was really unwell Friday night, high temp, lethargic, no appetite. We were up and down with her all night changing pjs (sweat), giving pamol, changing bedding (threw up)....she must have got a tummy bug on top of the infection as 'sicked up' (her words lol) again Sat am then went to bed for an hour or so. We had planned to go away to Whangamata for the weekend , I wanted to postpone but DH said we should go. Poor girl having to travel feeling like that She was pretty tragic all day Sat (put herself to bed again Sat arvo). She was a bit better Sunday
but then DH came down with the bug So not the most successful weekend away.....

I'm back Really back this time. Feel like I've been MIA all year We've had family from overseas visiting since the start of January and it's been FULL ON get togethers nearly every night etc etc etc. They left today so I feel like things will be back to normal now

It's a gorgeous day here today. Doing lots of washing. Went to the mall after the airport today and was in changing rooms trying on lingerie when MM fell onto the changing room door which opened it while I am standing there with no bra on and just knickers. She fell to the ground and was crying (causing everyone in the shop to look), had arm over my boobies stepping out to pick her up while everyone was having a good look. Fantastic I thought!

oh that is the funniest thing, but how mortifying!!!!

Getting ready for Valentines Day next week I plonked DH in front of a "little number" website and told him he could choose whatever he liked for Valentines Day It arrived today We're just gonna do cards, really yummy wine, and all our favourite nibbles, favourite stuff for dinner and dessert. Then, of course, the "little number" will come out

DH is away all next week at School Camp with Miss A so no Valentines Celebrations here....not that we do that anyway. How boring

Plus its taking be upwards of and hour to get to work 1 hr 20 today its just ridiculous! A & DH get home tomorrow. DH has to be back for a meeting at 11am so leaving early. I told him to bring A home with him rather than catching the bus, stopping at the Viaduct, then at the Papakura pools. Far too long a day for a wee 5 year old after a week away. They are having a good time but so knackered (especially DH sleeping in a cabin with 7 other men, boys ). The cast is doing ok, some of the lining has come out though so hoping it doesnt start to rub as she still has a couple of weeks to go!

Poppit, I can't believe A had a camp already, that's pretty cool though, our school the senior class only do camps, so three more years before that. Hope she has had an awesome time though, and hope that cast is still intact.

Got little colds in our house, the boys are pretty much better it's just my turn now, at least it's no too bad, I had a mini operation yesterday, got a cyst thing cut out of my leg, so sore!! And got to wait 10 days for results, I'm sure it will be fine though so resting up today, not allowed to over do it, bit hard with three kiddies though. my torbie is loving kindergarten, I can't believe how much he has grown up. My baby is growing heaps can you believe he is 9kgs already!!! He is a little porky, not sure why people think he needs soilds, boobie milk clearly is enough

Better go, and pop osten in bed.
