With 2 kids now in nappies, it is getting rather spensy buying my old faithful Huggies bawling DS2 is still teeny tiny and is just starting to properly fit Huggies NB (chicken legs with no fat yet rofl). Treasures NB were always alot bigger than Huggies - are they still? What other nappies are there which are small fitting?

I use the Wholesale Nappy Company - I first used their nappies when I stayed at Birthcare and as Lil Miss was 2.9 kgs and like a skinned rabbit I needed something small.

They do a mini nappy that goes from 2kgs if that helps.

What about putting DS1 into an alternative and still buying the huggies for DS2 until hes gotten a bit plumper?

We have never had any issues with Dryups... nice and cheap but still a great product. DD is in them overnight (12 hrs) with no leakage at all - not once! I have had her in them from when she was about three weeks.

Homebrand for your bigger boy. Huggies for your newbie... ??

Homebrand are a brilliant nappy - as good as huggies IMO. But I dont think they do a newborn size.

Homebrand are $5 a pack (same pack size as huggies I think)

Ditto what Chatterbox says yes Dryups for your bigger boy yes I buy online at www.babyonline.co.nz. A friend and I go halves in whatever the current twinbox deal is. Very economical nappies and IMO awesome.

I use these guys and I am really happy with their product

http://e-mart.co.nz/oc/quties-nappies-jumbo-box

I usually pay $60 for 252(M), 216(L) or 180 (XL) nappies and that includes courier.

They have a wetness indicator on them and I've never had a single leak including massive poo explosions!

For a few months I was using them full time and never had a problem with nappy rash as with other nappies.

I used to use Dryups for DD but found they smelt like wee as soon as she wet them? I tried DS1 with Homebrand a while ago and he got bad nappy rash. But I think I'll try them again in case it was coincidental yes as they were great for DD.

Thanks Roscoe, will see if I can get some samples of those nappies smile

Countdown have Select Infant nappies, which are actually just a bit bigger than Huggies newborn. Seriously, only SLIGHTLY bigger. They are often on a crazy special of $5.99 for 48 (usually $22) I used them heaps, my 16 week old has just grown out of them. Congratulations on your 3 tiny wee babes! My sister was a 28 weeker @ 936grams, can only imagine how tiny your wee baby girl was!

I found prefolds pretty good for newborns up to around 3 months, then MotherEase fitted naps after that. Oh... guess you don't wanna know about cloth naps..? rofl ( I have some to get rid of now, Kelly, if yer keen??)

Homebrand here too, for our two in nappies. Mine fit the same size too, which is handy!

Yes I 2nd (3rd? 4th?) Homebrand. They've recently changed and are slightly different but still just as good. I use them at night on DD and during day if she needs some bum cream (usually cloth during day).
