So ready for the big girls to go back to school on Tuesday. Be interesting to see how the morning routine goes seen as we haven't had much of one for the last 7 weeks lol.

Maddie only catnaps really anyway so should be fine dragging her around for pick ups etc but not sure how getting us all out the door at 8:30 is going to pan out.

Miss Maddie seems to have decided 6:30 is a good time to start the day- 3 days in a row she has woken at that time- would be better if she did like 7:30 like she was doing that way I can get up at 7 and get dressed etc before I have to tend to her.

No different to people having ciggy breaks!!!

I am also worried about teh school routine. I will have to go bed earlier (not 11:30pm like tonight giggle ) in order to get up earlier. It will especially be hard when Addie is on solids as I'd need to feed her breakfast too faint Plus I want to add some walking in there as well.

BabyT how is the boot camp going?

OMG the boys smoke alarm just went off IN their room and none of them woke rofl such heavy sleepers my boys.

I had 3 days of the morning routine with school last week and it was hard. DH helped the first day as it was DS2's first day of school so that was all good. Our school starts at 8.30, so we had to be there at 8.15am. I basically showered, fed Emilie and DH did the rest. Also being summer I have to line them all up and sunblock them before school! Thursday I had my student nanny here and she came to school with me but once again DH helped with most of it before he went to work. (And we made lunches the night before) Friday morning DH had to leave early and he left at 7.30am and I still had to feed Emilie AND give all the boys breakfast and sunblock them etc and be at school by 8.30am! Was a bit stressful but I did it, just!!

LOL at the smoke alarm Mel. My boys are the same. I go in and put their washing away and turn on the light etc and they don't even stir!

Need to go get a huge grocery shop this morning, we are out of everything! Going to cost a fortune!!

Did a wedding yesterday and it was my first really proper flash wedding. It went awesome and I have 543 photos to edit. We did some at farm with cows etc. The bride is gorgeous and used to be a model, so it made my job so much easier!!

I hear you Mel. I'm lucky the girls sort themselves in the morning- do their own breakfast and lunches etc so I used to only have to worry about sorting myself. Maddies new litte routine isn't going to work for school- she has started waking at 6-6:30 so I put her back down again and she sleeps for another 2-3 hours. I guess i'm gonna have to get ready while she goes back to sleep and then wake her to go to school.

Mel i'm gonna do the walking once i've dropped the kids. I will be back to going to bed at 9 once dad and sis have gone home and I don't need to be sociable lol.

Wedding sounds great Amanda- such pressure though but an honour to share in someones special day.

yeah well I figure if I dont have Addie ready by the time its school drop, it will be hard to feed her solids when out as I'm walking yanno. I'll go to bed earlier when I have to get up earlier too. I mean during school hols I get up at 9:30am. Addie may have an earlier feed but then like Maddie, sleeps another 3 hours or more so I go back to bed and let the boys fend for themselves. Today I got up and DS1 was sorting them all breakfast. Even went so far as putting a bib on DS3 rofl

Yay Mel.. Go DS1... DD1 wants to do stuff more, might have to teach her how to get breakfast for her and her sister. She can usually get yoghurt out, but if DD2 wants cereal she can't.

Wow I can't believe that your boys slept through the smoke alarm.

I don't know what to do with myself. Girls are out for a bit at kindy etc. boy is asleep. Might have a snooze myself!

I will be posting them on my facebook page - ABC Photography once they are edited and ready. smile

I've hit the wall this afternoon. Feel like crap. I am either coming down with something or really really tired. Wondered when my late nights would catch up on me.
Emilie refused to finish her lunchtime bottle and then slept til 4pm and then refused her bottle when she got up. Managed to get her to take it though so wondering if she is feeling a bit off too. Hope not.

It is my Grandad's birthday today (he passed away last year) and my Aunty rung before and I forgot to say anything until she started crying! Whoops!!

awww Amanda... It is hard huh. I still get sad when I think that my Grandma didn't get to meet my little boy.

I think my poor boy is teething. He has got those lovely rashed cheeks, extra drooly and chomping on his hands even when he isn't hungry. And to top it off he had a temp tonight and was just unsettled. First time I have had to cuddle him to go to sleep. Poor little man. Only 3 months old, it isn't fair.

gee teething already Lupy, that's not fair is it!

School runs.... yes it sux!! lol

I have managed to get E to sleep a bit more during the day.
She has been impossible to get to sleep and to stay asleep.

last Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat and Sunday gave her a bottle of formula at lunch time. (expressed later). It zonked her for 2-3 hours.
She even seems to cope with moving from cot to carseat for the school run.
So yesterday no bottle and she carried on the sleep routine. fingersx it's not a fluke!!

Off to plunket in a jiffy for our first ever visit. Wont tell them about the bottle LOL.

good sleeping woohoo!

Its so nice having a great day sleeper (and night) truly blessed. I felt safe knowing I could put Addie down today and then go to swimming with the older boys and leave her at home with DH. I got home and she was still asleep love2 I could never do that with my boys they were so bloody hungry! haha

Great stuff Mel. I'm not confident in Maddies sleeps to leave her. A quick 20min pop to New world is all I have dared to do lol.

My sun burn is REALLLYYYYY bad from my walk today- can feel it all going tight already- woops. Think I will stay out of the sun for a while.

Legs are very achy too.

Hat is awesome Mel, a couple of people have sent it to me lol. Sure I could whip one up for you if you get the wool and head measurement.

Beth, strange one, but BIL (Renz DH) always puts natural yoghurt on his sun burn and it stops you from hurting and he goes black as! ha When we went backpacking in the middle east I thought he was a fruit loop snort
