hi, i gained 1/2 a kg this week and i know what i did wrong, so i am going to ask for a bit of a hand here. i work rostered days and afternoons, and i dont often get an actual sat and sunday off. well i had the weekend off and hubby home as well, hubby loves white bread. now i picked and had some white bread and gained a half kg. i had toasted cheese sammies as i couldnt be bothered cooking. what are some healthy quick to make no fuss meals? I have some old healthy food guide magazines here that i am going to look into for ideas as well. does anybodyelse have this problem and what do you do?

LOl I was going to mention the HFG but you can see more recipes of those online too.

I love having wraps so salad and salsa and tuna or chicken in the wrap or even like a nacho bean/mince mix is good to. The kids rae loving them too. Homemade sushi with salad? We got a plastic mold thing to make perfect shaped sushi from Countdown for like $6 or so. So worth it. We make our own bread and put chia seeds in it for extra oomph. It tastes like vogels when toasted. How about getting some protein shakes to have when you are tight for time and need something. At least it will be a healthy filling option? Drink lots of water when ever you are hungry. I also like to snack on carrots with mayo dip.

White bread is a killer it has no nutritional content and does not fill you at all so you can eat more and more of it and it will pretty much turn to fat.

How about yoghurt and almonds, protein shake and a piece of fruit, atkins bars are good for a treat the milk chocolate and almonds ones are better than other chocolate (on special at countodwn for $2). Mountain bread is great for wraps or cut a mountain bread in 6 pieces put in a sprayed muffin tray mix up 1 egg and 6 egg whites and 200grams of cold cuts put into the mountain bread cups, also carrots dipped in chop chop tuna with mayo

Also you can make low cal curries and chow meins with lean meat just have less meat and more vege, about 150gram meat is right which is about 166 cal

Good luck you can do it

Im a big omlette convert. You can have just veg or add in meats or cheese - whatever you like realy and they are super quick to cook smile

I also have those wee cans of fish or chicken handy when Im stuck for time.
