Hi everyone...so 27 days to the day after my d &c i got my period back...it wasnt heavy but just like normal and back to 3 days..so am feeling very hopeful of TTC!!
will be leaving it another 8 weeks (12 weeks after d &c) just want to be sure that i have given my uterus time to heal as i had d &c and miscarried as well, and infection.
but just letting u all know that things are looking up...and also my bloods are back to normal and perfect actually and my iron is great but loads in storage..so all going back to normal.
anyone else had their periods return post d &c without troubles...it was one of my worries
hope u are all well.
xx

Hey Claire, really happy your cycle is back to normal. smile I always find that it is reassuring to know that your body is on the mend. After D&C's my cycle kicks back in straight away however the medically managed miscarriage played havoc with my cycles for months.

Oh that's good news Clare smile

I just had my d and c on Friday so can't comment yet on when periods come back, but interestingly my ob/gyn who did the procedure said we could start trying again as soon as my bleeding stops from the d and c. No need to wait he said. That was good news for me.

Clare (in case you didn't know) your fertility is greatly increased the months immediately after a D & C so if you feel emotionally ready to TTC this is a great opportunity to have a better than average shot at it. I feel pregnant with Harry on the 4th cycle after miscarriage and D & C although I had a faint positive on the 2nd cycle. It took me 18 cycles to conceive prior to that.

Im glad physically your healing well.
