I'm trying to find out how to lay a complaint in the family court. The complaint is about the family court itself and their lack of action. I have found out how to complain is to talk to the co-ordinator, but she is part of the problem, so that will achieve nothing!! Has anyone completed this process or started it??

As per normal, I cannot find any other relevant information rolleyes

Any help, advice, links etc would be great smile

I have been in the Family Court system for 4.5 years and can assure you - don't bother to waste your time complaining unless you have some serious Erin Brockovich type dedication. It is very rare that complaints are upheld and just leads to bitterness, anger and heartbreak for the complainant. The system is very, very wrong with how they are doing things.

You may be heard more if you fill out this review form about changes to the Family Court system. (Review at the bottom of this article) As many of us as possible who can fill it out MAY lead to changes.

I laid a complaint about a mediator, found out what they were supposed to do, listed ways they had breached that, sent it to the person who allocates her and she had to undergo retraining.

But the court system hairout is driving me insane with its inaction.

sorry I don't know how to help, but the info must be out there somewhere.
I think making a complaint is a good idea, even if nothing comes of it, at least you have it out of your system.

Thanks for your help guys.

**** I've read the paper when it came out, and I am definitely making a submission.

Found a process, well a sort of process. Tackling that one tomorrow and if no satisfactory answers, I will keep kicking it up the chain.

I may not be 'built' quite like Miss Brockovich, but I don't give up, just like her.
