Nice result PDogge, i had to ring for a repeat of my scripts early in January and was expecting a Summons from my GP, BUT NADA.

My test strips are due to run out in approx 2 months time so i will probably get a Lab Request for bloods and go for a review then.

The choccy sounds nice will keep my eyes open for it next time i am in New World.

Well done Pdogge, good numbers there cheer

Yes I buy the Sweet William choc, didn't know New World sold it though, will look there as I have been getting mine from a health food shop. There is a low carb white chocolate as well, not sure it is a Sweet William brand though.

Must be a full moon, PD. I just went to the hospital this morning for my quarterly bloodletting, I should have the results next week.

On Wednesday I had my visit with the tummy thumper, about the only statistic I can report is my BP is 116/80.

Stay tuned for the rest of the numbers next week.

Happy day, Gus

Most of the Canadian chocolate companies (I worked for one for seven years) have been bought by American outfits.

Now our chocolates are ghastly and taste like the parafin wax they are loaded with.

Hi to all my buddies heart

Cadbury chocolate changed the ingredients and country of manufacture and customers walked with their feet so Whittakers Made in New Zealand chocolate I believe is very popular. I buy Whittakers Dark Ghana Chocolate for my Mum and cut it up into small pieces. She's disciplined and only eats on piece a day so a block lasts more than a month.

Hi Elizabeth.

I will not ever buy Cadbury's again, tasteless sh!t, like the Whittakers Dark Ghana though, I don't eat a lot of choc and try to limit myself to a couple of squares when I do partake.

Hope things pick up for you Cookie.

ROTFLMAO Annie!!! Don't hold back, just let it all hang out.....

Actually I couldn't have worded it better. Never heard of Whitaker's, but I assume it is a NZ homespun. Cocoa beans have become rather pricey in the past few years so the mainline manufacturers cut it with cheap ingredients. Finding the genuine article anymore even in the home town shops is almost impossible as even the raw ingredients they buy are blended.

The concept of quality has become past tense.....
