Hi lovely ladies

Have any of you had one of these done ? I had one done and have received my results and all it says is that my level is at 39 ?? I thought it would be a yes or no kind of test. I had a tumor hcg and a serum level done at the same draw, got the normal hcg serum at 40 and the tumor test at 39 obviously 1 point doesn't mean much, they were done at different labs so a small discrepancy is normal. I still don't understand though what the difference was between them ? I have left a message for my surgeon but he might be a while getting back to me and my doctors surgery nurses had no clue as to how to interpret the result.

Any info would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks ladies ! there is so little info out there about tumour hcg tests ! honestly I have googled the crap out of it and FINALLY found some info ! It would seem that a tumour hcg test is just a more sensitive/accurate hcg level test !!! so basically i'm none the wiser !
