I'm not sure of the quantities, but I add a decent squirt of detergent and also a couple of spoons of sugar. Shake until dissolved in water, then leave for a day or so before using, for best results smile

We have a bubble machine that came with bubble solution. That ran out pretty quick so tried mixing my own but it just didn't work the same. Do you have a machine Lisa? Or just use a bubble wand?

If you add glycerine (from the chemist) the bubbles last longer.

Oh yes, we have a FAB one

1/2 cup of morning fresh dish washing liquid
1/4cup of chelsea golden syrup
2 cups of warm water
stir thoroughly

For super bubbles ass one cup of store brought bubble mixture to this.

Bubble tips:
Dip wand into a flat dish (gently) tap wand lightly to remove excess bubble mixture
and BIG whoosy arm movements

(this is from the Wizard bubblewands that go around craft shows etc , we don't have one, but OMG they are awesome, when i next see them i will be buying one smile )

We just use a bubble wand. Just did a quick google search and apparently you can add a few drops of cooking oil in place of glycerine in other bubble mix recipes. I might try adding some to my next batch smile

The glycerin one is good, but keep it away from grass, because if it spills, it will kill it. shocked

I had a really good recipe that has dishwash, water and cooking oil, but now I can't find it... you might be able to google it... it mostly had dishwash in it...
