I seem to remember a thread from last year where we pooled ideas for new shows starting, or old favourites coming back onto the goggle box.

I notice that Prime are starting Wild Boys, Tuesday 17th. I saw an episode when I was staying with a friend in Oz and saw enough to know I wanted to see more of it.

Oh and I know heaps of you are Rafters fans, thats back on Sunday smile

I was wondering the other thing the other day! I want some good series back!

I am waiting for Masterchef to come back on as that is another favourite of mine

I have been enjoying Winners and Losers and am glad that is back this week but it has been the only series that I watch on TV for quite a while. I have resorted to hiring the occasional series from the library that I missed out on when it first ran.

Yay for Rafters! Sooo looking forward to some good TV and some knitting tonight! The programmes have been crap (imo) the last few months!

Can't wait til Desperate Housewives returns too, my little bit of mind-numbing trash for the week. giggle

All I want to know is:

a) When are they going to show the Downton Abbey Christmas Special? (Yes I know it's online, but we are on mobile bb at a ridiculously expensive rate)

b) When is Season 3 of Downton Abbey starting?

I think they are still filming season 3, and I reckon they will show the xmas special once they finish showing season 2 on Prime.

Just before Xmas they were apparently filming in my sister's street. But not sure how long it takes, before we'll see it on the screen.

Go Girls doesn't take long to get from filming to tv (they filmed for several days at DH's work last season). They've wrapped filming so will be still editing it etc at the moment.

They just started writing scripts for the new season of Nothing Trivial 1-2 weeks ago.

The season of Desperate Housewives currently screening in America is the last season ever and just got back from its Christmas break a few days ago.

Once upon a Time will be screening here soon. It's by the makers of Lost and it's really good.

Another I know of is Homeland, I watched the first one and it was good... haven't continued watching it due to my current list being quite long.

Oh and another coming is Ringer - really enjoying that as well. Has Sarah Michelle Gellar in it...

Can't remember who is playing what though unsure

Next season of Glee has been also been quite good..

The Dr Who Christmas Special is on tomorrow, so I'm kind of hoping that the Downton Abbey one, won't be too far away.

New show on 4 starts soon called New Girl has Zooey Deschanel in it, have seen a couple of them, quite liked it.

I can't wait to see the new show Revenge, it starts here shortly, I am already watching Greys, lol, Homeland looks good too, it starts on Sunday, Downton Abbey - series 2 hasn't aired here yet but again starts soon, I watched the first ep of Ringers but couldn't get in to it. Persons of interest is ok, not great, but its ok to watch. We also have another new one that started a few months ago, Unforgetable, it has Poppy Montgomery in it, its really average.......ooh and I can't wait for Criminal Minds.

The new series of True Blood isn't released in the US till June I believe, so a while away yet before we get it.......

I'm hanging out for Glee too.

Criminal Minds started back on Monday so I was glad about that and I enjoyed that episode.

I wouldn't have minded watching the new show after Criminal Minds, Persons of Interest, but DH changed the channel

I see Bones is coming back soon - Yay!

Also looking forward to NCIS, Sons of Anarchy, Go Girls, Nothing Trivial, Almighty Johnsons

Haven't really heard about the new shows but hopefully they'll be good.

Glee is starting soon, I saw a teaser for it on TV3 last night.

Christmas special of Downton Abbey is on this week.. possibly the 1st Feb? Its in two parts I think.

I enjoy the Amazing Race and UK or NZ Masterchef so hopefully they'll be on soon.

As an aside Ocean Giants and Frozen Planet are both really good, we've been enjoying watching them.

I so look forward to that programme! I love her randomness! I have been watching it the last few weeks though (episodes I haven't seen), are they old I didn't realise I'd missed them?

I'm wondering when Desperate Housewives is to restart?

rofl us too, i am bummed that new girl clashes with NCIS (unless it is only 1/2 an hour..? i didn't watch on tues because i didn't want to have to turn off half way through) and i am super super disappointed that once upon a time clashes with bones - will have to catch it on ondemand.

Broke girls was OK, will give it another week. Just watched once upon a time, quite good, will give that another week or two as well.

Going to have to catch first couple of episodes of Go girls on demand as it clashed with Frozen planet and wild boys!

New girl was a bit painful, but very funny. I liked broke girls.

Big love - they're all so grumpy! I used to love that show, but I've taken it off my watchlist. Also, Wild Boys - I only managed to watch 5 mins - it wasn't my thing at all.

It's great to try a bunch of new shows though.

cry hope my TV is fixed by the time MC starts again. I am missing out on sooo many programs that I like at the moment

Does anyone have a link to where I could down load winners and loosers and off spring? I prefer not to watch on demand as It hate watching it live as there are sooo many pauses while my net catches up.

It was sexual last time? unsure

I agree it did seem quite 'low budget' last time. I hope they've invested a bit more in it this time, given how popular it was.

I mean in reference to all the innuendo that went on. My mind is frequently in the gutter but I didn't think it was appropriate on that show.

Season 8 started back in the States - September 2011 - and is currently still playing over there. Looks like it finishes May 17th this year. So it might not be back here for awhile..... unsure Hopefully someone can answer your question better than me blush
