I had a look at this tonight.
It asks for your weight & height in metric, but the food planner is in Calories?
Is there any way to change this to kiloujoules?
When shopping for food,I can think better in kilojoules than calories.

I don't diet either, but have lost 10.5kg so far!

It just opened my eyes to the amount I was eating before blush

I just finished some Lindt chocolate so definitely not restrictive giggle

I am there under my real name too, but if you are in the group you will see me smile

I was feeling really hungry all day today, not sure what was up with that, I think I need a more filling breakfast and to add more protein to my diet, especially around lunchtime....4 cruskits with vegemite just isn't cutting it lol

Nope, there is no option to change to kj but they are hoping to include it in the future.

I googled it smile

Quote:
The difference between Calories and kilojoules is very much the same difference between metres and feet. They are just two different measures of the same thing, energy. It can be quite confusing though as often food is measured in kilojoules and exercise in Calories. This makes it tough to compare the two, but let's have a look at how it all works:

1 Calorie = 4.184 kilojoules

Often you will want to convert kilojoules into Calories (or vise versa) and so the easiest way is to just divide the kilojoules figure by 4 to get a rough figure. If you want to be exact you need to divide by 4.184.

On the iPhone app I managed to get it to show me a pie graph with the % of food groups I ate, eg, fat/carbs/proteins etc. Does anyone know where/how to get this graph on the computer log-in?

I haven't seen that on the website sorry.
Though I use the app more than the site, so there are lots of parts of the site I haven't seen!

I love that feature smile It is also good to see the % values change to be so much closer to the 'goal'!

One thing it's taught me so far is to cut back on my servings of cereal in the morning and not to snack too much on a bag of almonds, cranberries & cashews oops
