Hi everyone,

Sorry for not replying earlier, this is to report my wife condition from thread http://www2.everybody.co.nz/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/2315125#Post2315125 . I've been very busy and focusing on the matter.

First, I really dont want to say that this was unwanted pregnancy, it was unplanned pregnancy to be exact. We want kids but just not around this year. I am an overseas student who got full funding from your government and to have kids at the same time will sounds like irresponsible parenting (I will be jobless father because I left my previous job to pursue higher degree in NZ)

So the story, after my wife got faint positive result, in the afternoon she got her period. She felt it like her usual period, not lighter, nor heavier.

The next day, we take another urine test and it was negative. We became more confused. We decided to wait for the next day to do another test.

And then in the morning, she got some kind of tissue (like little mussle) within her period discharge and when we got another negatives. Seeing this made us worried and decide to see a obgyn doctor.

At the hospital, The doctor said that she only needed to do urine test with the hospital lab. And after 2 consecutive appointments the doctor said this was a very early miscarriage and not to worry about it.

My wife only given a vitamin to boost her health, but from emotional side, she was really down. I think for around 3 days. That made me makes this holiday all about her and never touch my work (laptop) until now.

She still sometimes talk about it, I guess its normal and just try comfort her if she remembers about it

I just want to say thank you for all of your information and help. This forum has been very helpful to us.

I am very sorry if my thread made a little misunderstanding.

Thanks Again

Thanks for coming back and updating us, im glad that you were able to get answers about what was happening but terrible sorry that you have suffered a sad loss. You sound like your doing a great job supporting each other and doing what you need to do right now. Keep being kind to each other and realising that other stuff can just sometimes wait.

I lost a baby around xmas 2 years ago and its a hard time to be sad, so I know this will add to the sadness too.

Im glad that we were able to offer you some support during a time of worry and saddness. Feel free to keep chatting, sometimes the feelings jump out of no where, although its horrid its nice to know that your not alone and going crazy when things like that happen.

Big hugs to you both.
