Good to hear your doing better LoobyLoo.
We too - DD struggling to get out of the wrap. I've been thinking the same but am waiting a bit longer. Best time is anything 3-6 months apparently? when they stop that reflex 'waking themselves up with arms at 3 months' is good. otherwise you can 'wean' them off the swaddle gradually one arm at a time! depends if baby still sleeps well without the wrap. I recall my DS's waking up to feed because they kept sucking at their fingers and getting angry! I'm waiting to see if DD is going to suck her thumb properly then i will stop swaddling when she can keep herself settled. wink

wave It's very quiet around here at the moment!

How is everyone doing?

All going ok here. I am still wrapping baby as he settles better. He wriggles out during the night but then resettles himself, sucking on his hands in his sleep. He was really unsettled last week but looking back I don't think it was about the wrapping, I think it was the change from moses basket to the cot, or maybe both. He seems to be used to the cot now.

BlueSky, how is DD's reflux and skin?

Hi all!
Good to hear LoobyLoo. PK all ok?
We too - still wrapping but was tempted to stop when DD was NOT settling at all and struggling around! all ok now. she's still a screamer though.
I think i have found that it is very mild reflux but aggravated by my horrendous fast let down - all the gulping air, wind and then over feeding spilling etc. Seems so much better now I'm on to it, whether it was that or a bit of reflux too.

Am still worried about DD's skin - she gets lots of little dots all over her face mainly forehead, chin, nose etc. None on body though. Not really very red but enough to know it's mild eczema and i just want to know what's causing it! Can only be wheat or soy from top allergens but am only having a little soy in processed products so time will tell - am going to take her to specialist in 2 months anyway for blood tests and see if it's obvious then. hmmm...

Other than that - all fine. We're all just sick sick sick...... sigh.... doesn't take much to make you feel rock bottom eh - lack of sleep... zzzzz....

wave Yes, very quiet...I guess we are all busy with our kiddies!

Baby is 5 months old today crazy! Wow, where has the time gone? It's gone so fast! He is at such a lovely age/stage at the moment, laughing and giggling, quite interactive and cheeky.

PK, how are you going? Have you started baby on solids yet?

Hope the school holidays are going well for you both.
