My darling mother in law sent me a Salt Pipe from the UK. It has helped HEAPS!!

It is a plastic device that you put these special rock salt crystals in (think they come from a mine in Poland) and you just breath in through the device and the ambient air in the chamber releases some of the minerals from the salt crystals.

I have been able to stop using my preventer and have hardly used my ventolin since using it. I use it for about 20 minutes each day, usually when I'm just blobbing in front of the telly at night. Even with a bad cold, my asthma has improved considerably.

Just wanted to put this out there in case it helps someone else.
