Hi, Conor is doing extremely well and the losec seems to be doing the trick (fingers crossed) however he was fine taking the Losec with a bit of puree pear but the last three days he is gagging and vomitting? Any ideas on how else to give it to him?

Tip it into his mouth (the granules that is) and wash down with a syringe fall of water.

How much pear are you using? Use less, or use more.

Use a tiny bit of baby rice to thicken the pear. Don't add milk though.

Who else has ideas?

Well after going okay we have had a shocking month. I really don't know what to do anymore. My wee man has reduced his volume at feed time and seems a bit grizzly after and very windy. He is still sleeping fine but just isn't has happy inbetween feeds. He is jamming his fingers so far in his mouth he gags, and dribbling so much.

I took him back to the ped who said his dosage of 1x10mg and 1/3 of 10mgs capsules of Losec are enough. His weight gain is 400grams since the 21st of Sept. Plan of action was to start solids to see if it helps if it doesn't then trial soy formula for 3 weeks etc. We had two days where he seemed into solids but since then he just doesn't seem that keen at all. I am really not sure what else to do?? Is it the reflux???

How is it going now? Did the soy formula help?
