At the beginning of December I ordered a baby's wetsuit from nzsale.co.nz They quote 7-21 days delivery time. Day 31 I contacted them for the 5th time and got a message back saying that they had been short supplied and I may not get the wetsuit at all but that if that was the case I would receive an automated email telling me so, and a refund. Shortly after this I noticed that my order had disappeared from the 'My Orders' section. Now, Day 53 - no email, no refund, no product. Anyone else had trouble with nzsale? Just wondering if it is worth me ever using them again?

stink!!

I have only ordered from them once and it took well over a month to recieve, which just seems insane when other sale sites are sooo fast in sending things out. My friend had a similar experience.

I use them alot and have never had a problem.

I would just email again, stating you notice your order has gone and where is your refund.

It does take ages to get the stuff though.... like, it's never taken 7 days... for me it' always been 3+ weeks.... but I knew that from the start.. as it comes from Aus and they don't always have the stock there..

Items are usually shipped from Oz which is why there is such a delay. Although the only item I've had that took ages they at least e-mailed me and said that the shipment had been held up. I think it took about 5 weeks to show up.

I'd e-mail them again.

I've only ordered from them once and after having to chase them several times to find out where it was well after the expected delivery date I doubt I'd use them again unless it was a super super excellent deal.

So it sounds like they need to change their quoted delivery time of 7-21 days!

Oh, and I have contacted them again - but their quoted response time of 1-2 business days is also an underestimate

Yeah I've ordered a few things from them, and my last order was in terrible condition actually, 3 boxes of skin care stuff & it was just in a courier bag so very damaged & a few bottles leaking a tiny bit. But that was the quickest order I've had, in around 3 weeks.
Other have taken more than 4 weeks, and over Christmas they informed me only a couple of days before they sent the order that one of the ties I ordered for my hubby (4weeks previously!!) was no longer in stock!! And that was for a prezzy too, so I was a bit annoyed.
But I think the price for everything is so cheap, that as long as you plan WELL ahead to get the deals when they come up its worth it cause its so cheap!
But if they aren't contacting you then thats not really good enough.

Funny you say that as I have already this morning sent them 2 emails (about 2 orders) that I have been waiting on for over 3 weeks now.

Even if it is coming from Aussie - I buy things off ebay from Aussie all the time and it only ever takes a week for the item to arrive.

What annoys me is that they have use of your money for over 3 weeks! Not a great way to run a business!!

I have only ordered from them once and had no problem at all. It does take a while for the products to arrive. The email stated it would be shipped once the sale period was over.

Yeah thats true, I've always counted my 3 weeks starting from when the sale ends, not from the day i purchased cause thats what it does say.

I ordered on the last day of the sale - so I think they should be here by now! Also one is still only saying approved under my orders - not even ready for dispatch or anything - grr! Sent them an email, so will let you know what excuse they come up with.

Hi Everyone,

Nzsale works a little differently than other shopping sites you may have purchased from before in the past.

We quote a longer delivery time in order to offer the great savings on all of our products that we do.

The stock is held with our suppliers until the sale has finished.

Once the sale has ended the supplier then sends the products into our warehouse and then we do all the fulfilment to our customers.

Although delivery can be a little on the slow side – we are confident once you receive your order you will agree it is well worth the wait!

Not when the first time I recieved my NZ natural skin care packed very well in a box and then the next time it was flopping around in a courier bag & leaking!!! I will not be buying skin care again if its coming all the way from aussie & not packed sufficiently.

I ordered a tie, 3 weeks after I paid for it I was told it wasn't in stock. NOT good enough and no NOT worth the wait

Yeah, ditto, it wasn't worth me waiting 4 weeks for a set of towels, only to be told the towels were out of stock but the hand towels had been sent out anyway. I mean, WTF, what would I do with half a set of towels? I had to turn the courier away at the door.

I've ordered through them maybe 6 or 7 times, and at least half of the orders have been incomplete hairout and ALL have taken more than 21 days.

Have heard back from nzsale that my order is out of stock and I will be receiving a refund.... Now just to work out how much interest I have lost while they have had my money for 2 months....
