Well this little muffin is as bad as it's big sister. She always loved basey type music in the womb, last night when I went out to dinner there was a male singer and he was doing a Barry White song and my mini-me was loving it Safe to say that it's ears have developed! How did your dinner go, Goat? Did you have a nice birthday, Nimbus? Today is the first day in a while where I've felt tired but not fallen asleep. WOOHOO!

Haha - Peace - I took my daughter to the Adam Lambert concert last night and pretty sure I felt my first movements - must have a base lover on my hands too Had a great time in Queenstown - ate far too much (breakfast, mornign tea, lunch, afternoon tea, entree, main and desert were catered every day) but came back and weighed myself to find I've lost half a kg??? Must admit - not a lot to do down there when preggo - no bungy jumping, jet boating, paragliding, wine tasting for me...

Morning April mummas, hope everyone is well. Well dinner was alright, it helps when the kids are around and the focus is on them. There was lots of talk about how everyone wants a girl baby blah blah but I said tat I think its a boy and I'm very pleased. It was a little bit uncomfortable giving the stepMIL a goodbye hug as the last contact we had with her was a particularly nasty text to DH but we were very grown up about it. DS2 was a treasure, he ate everything on his plate (eventually) and then when we were about to leave he went back into the toy room and picked up all the mess they had made. I was blown away because he's not a tidy kiwi at home. I had a lovely day yesterday sitting in the sun while catching up with friends at a babyshower, DH took the boys to some mud plug thing so I had pretty much the whole day to myself, bliss. Yay for a great time in Queenstown stillhopefull and extra bonus for not piling on the weight, it will no doubt start creeping on soon though. I'm too scared to weigh myself as I'm sure I've put on a fair bit this last week. Nice quiet day planned here today I'm going to make the most of it I'm back at work tomorrow and the office has been super crazy busy recently.

Denz - happy anniversary for yesterday! Taylors is gone now - they pulled it down! Bit of a shame.
Pulled it down. What a waste it was a beautiful place. Cannot believe they could not make something of it! Love the bump pics... I should take one as you can see bump now, not just blubber! Sounds like a few of us have had events on in the past week. I had a FAB night away with just DH and me... won't bore you with the details... just wish we could do it at least once a month

Mine is still blubber Denz.. although I guess I look pregnant but I know its not bump! Just when I started to get paranoid again as I hadnt felt any wee taps during the weekend - mind you we were pretty busy - I am getting them this morning. Probably telling me "your squashing me mum sitting like that!" whereas in the weekend if I was sitting down it was lounging over the couch! We went car shopping yesterday and have definitly decided up upon the Toyota Ipsum - we can be car twins Goat We wanted something with more boot space - and it has plenty when you put the back seats down. Plus the option for extra seats so it fits the bill. Now to find one that is not hugely spensy like some of the ones we saw yesterday. TM seems to lots listed though. Dh liked the Estima - who would have thought a boy would like a mum bus!! But I talked him out of it because you cant get as much in the boot and besides its not like we're intending on filling all the seats up on a permanant basis so a bit of overkill. Peace, laughing at you and your grumpy mood.. that was me a few weeks ago. How are you feeling btw with your cold etc?? mine seems to finally be getting better... yay!!!!! Lunch time.. what am I going to have? Happy Birthday for the other day Nimbus. I was reading on Saturday but got distracted and then never came back to wish you a happy one. Did you get anything exciting! (and not photo related? )

Yay for new cars hehe we went for the 7 seater as DS2 never shuts up and the back row seemed perfect for him. In saying that his favourite spot is the secret boot, he likes to take a pillow and curl up in there pretending to sleep. We struggled with the age of most of them and although we ended up with a 2001 and I would've felt more comfortable with something newer but there wasn't much to choose from with decent kms.

Hi Yay for the new cars!! We got ours in January. Mostly we stick with the 3 seats in the back but on long trips we will put the extra two up. The good thing I notice is that there are car seat clips for every seat in the back. Denz Im glad you enjoyed your time away. I get what you mean about wanting it atleast once a month. Thought is nice but usually the $$ put paid to those dreams Peace lol at Barry White, one of my boys loves Ozzy Osbourne as he was growing during DH's Ozzy phase. The other day I was growling the kids and thought to myself I will have to be more careful with that soon. I dont want the baby to think im the one that grouls lol. I want DH to be the bad guy for once lol. Chatterbox yay your little bubba is saying hi mum! I cant wait to play! hehe Mine is still blubber to. Just looks like guts lol. Goat good for you being the better person re your inlaws. DH's can be weird to the extreme. Well his father can. He is with a girl that is just trash! I dont look down on people but I do her as she seems to fit that definition very well. I have been having uncomfortable sleeps lately, I just cant get comfortable anywhere. Even with pillows. It takes me ages to go to sleep and than to get back to sleep if I wake up. No weird cravings yet. But I did buy a jar of pickles!!

Had to at worries about girl bits - you realize boys pee on you right?lol. That's the part I would be concerned about. LOL, I only got peed on once and that was when he was a few days old. After that I learnt to just put a cloth on it and whip it away before I did up the nappy. Girls dont bother me either, have had plenty of practice with the neices. But I do know they got far more nappy rash than DS did - he only got it when he was cutting the bigger teeth. But I guess that could have been the parents not changing them often enough or they were just prone to it. I read about the secret boot yesterday Goat and thought awesome!!! hahaha I was more excited about car browsing than DH and DS well he was over it after the second car yard Nothing a museli bar couldnt fix. Hes such a moody thing when he gets hungry but doesnt ask for food - little twerp! I pity his poor teacher when he starts school next year, gets too distracted to eat his lunch and turns into the tasmanian devil in the afternoons. Must remember to mention it.

4d addison... cool! Do you have pics you can share?? We have a Mitsu Grandis... love it. We imported it in June and I still love it. Has all the mod cons - tip tronic, backing camera, roof DVD for the kids, TV, etc. Dang thing even has horoscope in it (incase you ever wondered that while driving). Love the flexability of 5, 6 or 7 seats. DH says we should flick it off and get another one in... me considering it. Would get the same again tho. Chatterbox... don't be fooled. Most of mine is blubber too.. being pushed up by the ever growing bubs underneath. I am sure people think I have put on heaps of weight but are too polite to ask if I am PG (again!). I think I definately look PG... not sure everyone else does tho!

Ohhh I think bubs is having a growing day.. I am feeling ouchy in my belly today. I look pregnant too - did I tell you a few weeks ago I had someone we know say to me "So you're expecting are you?" - I had only just hit four months I dont think I'm any bigger now though as I was then.. and that was most definitly not baby 4D I really liked the look of those scans but they totally freak DH out so thats not going to happen Nothing much else happening in my world. Feeling very tired today and struggling to get motivated to do anything remotely like work, the boss is away so I am playing up

Thanks for all the bday wishes! Peace - haha my wick is pretty short at the mo too, I am finding it hard to bite my tongue when I should LOL. Stillhopeful - woohoo for maybe feeling movement! Glad Q'town was good, sucks you couldn't do much though. Wow to losing half a kg and eating lots! Goat - glad dinner went well, you are sounding happy. Denz - yay for a good night out, what did you get up to? Yeah a shame about Taylors, I don't know why they didn't do something with it, it was such an awesome venue. Just badly managed. I can't remember what is there now - just houses I think, so I guess a developer bought it and saw more profit in housing. Chatterbox - great you got a new car sorted, and that you are feeling better. Haha nothing exciting for my bday, DH didn't get anything (I told him we could just say a dress I bought from Egg was my pressie, he's slack). My IL's got me a reflector (haha yep photo related) and choccies, body butter, and lemon/honey/ginger drink. My Mum got me an iron cat and a wooden necklace pendant thingy, and my cousin gave me a Lilliput Lane house. LOL at your Tazzy devil. LOL at peeing boys. I got caught out a couple of times, but they don't do it for long fire hose style. YAY addison for a great scan, 4D sounds amazing. Haha at the bumps - mine is so blubbery as well. My MW said I had a "perfect belly" when I saw her a couple of weeks ago - but I said it was all soft and wobbly. She said it's just the progesterone and it's perfect, so she made me feel better haha. It seems to have got a lot fatter (as in fat and not baby) since then though!

Hey all
Wow what a lot of chat!
Well I have had back probs for the last few days, its definately baby related I'm thinking. Even feeling uncomfortable in bed.
I'm really grumps at the mo, every night DH and I have a wee 'chat' about something!
No 'special cuddles' here as my back has put a stop to that!
I just got a cold as well and its an evil one, so all in all, feeling pretty poos really.
Glad to hear everyone else is feeling generally good. Yay for lots of kicking etc.
Had my MW visit yesterday, my date for Anatomy scan is not until 24th November... I don't know if I can wait another month and a bit to find out the sex! I think I'll be nearly 20 weeks then. Who has the closest scan??? exciting times...
Well I better go and take DS1 to swimming lessons after school, have a great day all!
