nope we dont do it. DS's dad couldnt even be bothered sending DS a card for xmas pffft. despite promising DS he'd write to him after their last visit together just a few months b4. hasnt seen him since and DS has a b-day coming up which he keep saying wonder what dad will get me, mum did you remember to tell him we've moved house etc etc poor kid, i dont want to tell him it doesnt matter his dad prob wont send anything anyway. i almost feel like putting a b.day card in the mail from his dad to him, just so he feels that 'i am important' feeling...but then part of me doesnt want to either as its not honest, and bla bla bla.
so fathers day.....hahaha noooo way!
was funny tho, they wrote the typical 'my dad is the best' stories at school, and DS decided to write about his cat instead...and it got in the school newsletter

when i asked him about it, his response was well Dad doesnt really do anything, but Jess(cat) does HEEEAPS didnt you read the story mum (with that sheees D'uuuuh look about him)
