Oh man, I am so sorry that you poor chch people all had to go through this. That is so scary to wake up to hear about, I can't imagine how awful actually going through it is.
I hope we can make contact with the rest of our Chch people soon.

...wish the aftershocks would stop, can't relax and keep running to get Sam  ME TOO! Just had another one. So glad Ebbers are safe. I am at work at the hosp... quite a lot of casualties.

I hope we can make contact with the rest of our Chch people soon.  Just got time to come on the computer, checked the Herald site and saw the news. My thoughts and prayers are with all Christchurch people. So pleased to know that our Christchurch EBBers have been accounted for

Merkers I didn't know you worked at the hospital, be funny if we worked together lol. We just had 5 aftershocks in about 6 minutes....Glad you're ok.

Yeah these aftershocks are coming thick and fast at the moment! Yikes!
I had to go out and get bread and milk and there are still traffic lights out around hornby area. Service Stations are packed to the brim with people lining up for petrol and getting water etc. Hornby Mall was open but with limited shops open - supermarket was due to open at 11am at that point...

They just said on the radio we could get aftershocks for up to 4 weeks & up to 6 on the ric. scale  DS will need to go to bed soon but I'm not sure I want him alone?
