Quick question...

Does a person need to have gluten in their system for the results of this blood test to be valid? I know IgE mediated allergies don't need to have egg or dairy etc in the system for the test to show up an allergy. I wondered if this is the same for IgG?

Anyone know?

Yes, you need gluten in your system. Specifically, you need to have consumed a substantial amount of gluten (2+ slices of bread a day) for a number of weeks for it to be considered valid.
