Well miss nearly 15 months goes for her surgery in November, we could have gone sooner but wanted to get our heads around it and we have to travel to Chch for it. I would like to thank everyone for the support on here and i dare say i will need lots more advice after. I was so hoping it wasnt going to come to this and feel a bit gutted but its for the best shes still little weighing in at just over 7kg, she had her frist loss last month due to being sick , and we dont want that happening again its so bloody hard to get the weight on.So thanks again.

Oh hugs!

Big and scary decision - but even with the current issues with Thomas I don't regret it with the boys at all.

You know I'm here to bounce any questions off if you want - btdt 3 times now...depending on the outcome of Thomas' barium swallow on the 20th we may well be heading down the surgery route again ourselves. I know how hard it is when they lose weight.

It can be a hard recovery but really has been life changing for my boys.

Just think - once the surgery is done and dusted you can be a reflux-free household! That is a wonderful feeling!

Inst it typical she has her biggest gain of 450grams this month, am happy as its brings her up to 7.5kg, but the doubts set in even more.I suppose its cos she hasnt had a flare up,but i keep thinking as you do oh maybe shes coming right am i doing the right thing.

Hang in there!
Yes, you are doing the right thing - the docs wouldn't recommend it if they didn't think it was either.

Thomas seems to be okay and then has another major flare up of the 'gloopies' and confirms there is something really wrong going on inside and we really need to push for answers.

Hugs,
