I was going through my lovely collection of cook books and realised that I do not have a decent Italian cook book. Have you got one that you could recommend?
I am thinking not just pasta, pizza but including meals with veg sides.

I have the SILVER SPOON
silver spoon

it is sooo extensive, it is fantastic. YOu can look up a vegetable and there is a whole chapter on what to do with it! there are so many recipes that there aren't photos (which I usually love) but it is a very good cookbook. 1264 pages gives you an idea of how huge it is!

The shipping and handling made them just about the same, will have to wait for a windfall for that one!

We can recommend anything by Julie Biuso, especially The Long Italian Lunch.

I have a few of hers and they are lovely.

I have Jamie Oliver's Italian Cookbook as well.

Oh yes I love the risotto recipe in Jamie's cookbook, a really good basic one!
