Im 17 years old, female, living in NZ and was diagnosed with crohns disease about two years ago! I am still trying to find a medication that works for me. (tried Pentasa, sulphasalazein, azthiropriene( currently on methotrexate, inflixamab, prednisone and calcium supliments))

I would like to chat with other teen about what they go through, so mums/dads or teen reply to this and maybe you and i will get some answers or support, i know i could use some!

No longer a teen at 27 but diagnosed at 12 i went through it all with chrons. weight gain from prednisone at high school, my intermediate teacher telling the class i had chronic diarrhea thats why i was in hospital now that was cool!
At your age my main reccomendations are dont smoke - at all!, watch what you eat and drink and see what doesn't work with your body.

I too got this as a teenager. My advice is LIVE! Dont miss out on anything while you are young! Some people make their lives about illness whatever their disease. Yes it will be inconvenient at least and painful at worst but make sure you do everything in your life that you want to. At times I have not eaten to control my toilet habits (only temporarily) and on occasion used diastop - I was going to get that helicopter ride regardless!! Remember life is all about you... not your disease.
