I am tentatively joining - we have dd who is 3, and just used our last 2 frozen embies in the last 2 mths BFN Last one was a low BETA which clinic said had implanted prob but not continued. Am still quite devestated about it - it will be quite a stretch to contemplate a private ICSI cycle, but we are hopeful we might be able to investigate dh dx which is obstructive azoospermia. We are waiting for our review appt with Fert Plus and see what they say.
I have had a good read thru this thread, and it looks like a good mix of dx and great support.
Hope everyone has a great relaxing long weekend planned - I am going away with my Mum for the night while dd stays home with dh! Their first solo sleepover!! And my FIRST sleepin in 3 yrs!!

wbm - hang in there. my first beta was 19 and then only rose to 45 and now I am a week away from my 20 week scan.

Hi thanks WW. We went from 73at 4 weeks 3 days to 110 to 156 at 5 weeks. Far too low. Have had a tiny amount of bleeding over the weekend. We have accepted that this pregnancy is not meant to be. Had another BT this morning to see if the levels have started dropping yet.

Hi WBM, i've seen what you're going through and my heart goes out to you and DH. I too have had a couple of biochem preg and it is so awful, worse than BFN even cause it gives you hope and drags it all out, however the clinic said it was a good sign that at least the embryo implanted and started to grow. I think this kind of loss happens lots in the fertile world too but most wouldn't have even known they were preg and can try again next month. After my one I went onto have my DD next cycle. I second that WBM. I understand what you are going through. Try and hold on to the positives. Enjoy a bit of time out so you have the strength and energy to give it another go.

Hi to Mya's mum too! Sorry for your recent loss. Hope you enjoyed your weekend and had a bit of R & R. Hopefully you can get some help treating your DH so you don't have to resort to the expensive ICSI cycle.

We got our 'price list' from Fert Plus - EEEPP! That is just scary to look at!
We have an accupuncture consultation on Saturday for dh and hope we can find a way through there. We also have a review appt with Fert Plus Nov 19th.
Back on the treatment wheel again...

W.B.M, I'm so sorry (((hugs))); it's a terribly hard process to go through (BTDT). I know you will find yourselves in the New Year with recharged batteries and renewed optimism. And don't forget, success rates are apparently higher in the summer - something to do with increased daylight hours. Take care ...

4 blasts? YEAH!!! Got to be a winner in there, and here's hoping there's another sibling too!

We plan on doing our next tranfer in Feb after we get home from our holiday on the Gold Coast (my home) for our sons first birthday... no doubt will be relaxed, refreshed and ready to go on our return! Will also be nice to have an IVF/TTC free festive season! Thanks again for your encouraging words.

Thanks for asking after me. We got a bfp last Friday (i.e. about 10 days ago now) with beta of 150, I then got a strep throat infection and had high temps for a few days and my hcgs took a hit - only 205 on Tuesday. Did another bt on Saturday and they had risen to 535. So, we're in limbo land. It sucks! I feel pregnant, but not sure how long it's going to last. Have another bt on Thursday. Argh!

Oh Pinkmonty, the waiting is so hard. It was a good Hcg level to start off. Do you have to wait until Thurs for the next one?
