This is a cool idea Hopefully it encourages more people to come out of the woodwork and post Anyway, HI I'm Amy, I first joined EBB in 2006 in the TTC board and then joined the May 07 and Dec 08 M2B boards. I'm not such a prolific poster these days, my 2yo dd and 6mo ds keep me pretty busy, but I have made some great friends on here It's a great little community so I encourage people to post and get to know people

Hi, I'm Tasha, 33, single mum to Alyssa. I was born in Taupo, moved to New Plymouth when I was 6 and have only ventured away twice. 12 months in Auckland and another 12 months in Australia. I joined EBB 3.5 years ago and chatted on the TTC boards. Left, then returned when I fell pregnant and joined the April 07 MTB board where I've met some wonderful friends I've spent the last 18 months on the Weight Loss forums although my time there isn't as abundant as it was in the first few months My daughter, Alyssa, is 2 years old. She has Albinism and low vision. She's the most beautiful person in my life and I love her to the ends of the earth and back. I work 4 nights a week at a Supermarket as well as working part time doing data entry. I plan to return to study in the next few years building up my knowledge/skills in and around computers and the business world. We shall see!? Alyssa's dad and I have a fairly good friendship which has lead to a perfect father/daughter relationship through shared care. She also has a lot to do with her grandparents and Aunts & Uncles. And favourite cousin Olivia (Peace's daughter). Watching them interact last night was watching her with a big sister Hopefully one day, she'll be someone's big sister. The Twilight series seems to have taken over my life and I'm desperately seeking my own 'Edward'

Hi, I'm a SAHM (35) to 3 boys aged 7.6, 4.8 and just turned two. I started off in Allergies after my 3rd son was diagnosed with severe multiple food allergies. From there I ventured out into the parenting threads (I guess there's an interest there in terms of my past line of work/education) and then (very slowly) into OT.

I found this site by accident (thanks google), and posted on the now defunct Sept '07 board, I started posting on OT every so often and now I'm here every day without fail I know a few girls from NZWP, and have met some new coffee friends on here too

I'm Sarah, 31, wifey to a lovely Brit and I have 2 lovely kids, Tara who is 8 and Marcus who will be 2 next week. I joined back in 05 when I was ttcing after a loss and mainly stuck to the Infertility board. What a wonderful bunch of ladies! Thankfully in late 2006 I was able to move to the July 07 MTB board and you'll usually find me there or the MTBAI board. I lurk in OT, but you will find me posting on any thread to do with beauty, eyebrows, brazilians and skin as I'm a beauty therapist and slightly obsessed!

Hi I am Karen (as if that was hard to work out) I am 38yrs old and work full time (Govt Dept) and have a beautiful stubborn daughter who is 2yrs 8mths! Can't believe there is only 4mths till she turns 3!!! Oh I am also married to a wonderful DH who is a pain in the butt at times but I do love him heaps! I started in Feb 05 when I first got pregnant (thanks JustJo for introducing me to EBB) so hung out in Oct 05 group, then to TTC, then Feb 06, back to TTC (and Miscarriage board too in this time) and finally in Nov 06 Mums! We may not chat to much on here but they are a wonderful bunch of ladies! I mainly venture in OT and parenting these days seeking the advice and opinion of all you wonderful ladies (and guys)!

This is kinda a cool thread as I have learnt things about long-time posters I never knew! I'm ChickenPie (aka Astronomrs) - everyone knows that now hopefully My DD is Charlotte and she's 2 1/2, she's my world and I have never known love like that for a child. I'm 33, have a DH in I.T. I was a florist for 10 years then packed it all in after all the stressful long hours, low pay and bridezilla's My floristry work morphed in to business development. I became a medical receptionist then felt I wanted to have a purpose in my work a bit more and started work for the hospice in their fundraising and marketing team. I set up an op shop for them and co-ordinated and managed 80 volunteers and developed the business. I loved it! I have a strong interest in science and technology, philosophy, psychology and arty farty stuff. I paint, knit, sew, scrapbook etc etc. I joined EBB when I was pregnant with DD and was home from 5 weeks gestation with hyperemesis. Although my MTBNP don't chat here anymore, we still chat elsewhere and meet up when possible. They are really cool bunch and we all accept and encourage each other even though we are all quite different. I love (friendly and respectful) debate in OT and enjoy a lot of the personalities on here. Ummm, stay at home Mum, did do a bit of work for my Dad for a bit (who's a psycho-therapist) but found it too much with my demanding toddler and unreliable daycare (my mother, lol)!

Hi I'm Vegy, 37 years old SAHM living in a leafy suburb of Wellington. I have a DS who is 15 months old and I've been happily married for 5 years. My sister put me on to the MTB forum for March08 and then I started lurking around OT. Where else can you feel connected with people at 2am in the morning

Hi I'm KiwiMum21. I am 32 and SAHM to DS (almost 4) and DD (18 months) and another due in February. I have been married to DH (possibly the best husband in the history of the world) for 8 years . I joined Sept05 Spring mums when pregnant with DS and have made some wonderful friends who have spilled over into real life. I also hang out in the Dec07 thread, Parenting and OT. EBB is a huge source of help, support and inspiration for me.

$hit Chook, I didn't realise your kids were so close in age!! Lilysmum - I didn't realise you were newly a single mamma either Hope everything is going ok. Welcome Onemoneky!! OT is a bit addictive I reckon. At first you feel SO scared of posting where noone knows you and you slowly post on a thread or two and gain confidence and eventually post here as you would anywhere else. Well it was like that for me anyway Hope to see you post more around here Nice to read and learn stuff about people that I already thought I knew lots about
