Not too bad day foodwise here either.
Dont think I had enough water and I have a chest cold, but did manage 30mins bike ride.
Toren had a good day too, good long sleep this arvo and that makes me feel better too! Right, he's asleep and I am on my way too.

well DH lost his glasses, so my exercise was walking up and down the hill trying to find them never mind - i did get an hour with DH by myself while G and B stayed at the bosses (she even fed and bathed G!!!!)

Eating ... hmm ... the scales won't like my custard and fruit salad.

Custard and fruit salad sounds pretty healthy to me, PK!

Doing okay today foodwise today, though a bit much bread, but at least it was homemade wholemeal five seeded stuff \:\)

Haven't done any exercise yet, might quickly do some before bubs wakes up again.

I'm not going to manage to get on here much to chat probably, hardly ever seem to get a spare minute on the computer between the two kids and doing a little bit of work from home! Will try to get in each week for weigh in.

Eating is going pretty well (all good stuff, just perhaps a little more than I should have, but I am exclusively BFing R), have gone out and bought a smaller plate. Just need to convince myself that smaller portion sizes are what is normal now.

Hi everyone!

Sunflower - scales are always up for me later in the day! Don't worry too much about that. \:\) Hope they're down for you by weigh-in day - that's what counts!

lunna - Sorry you're so busy, but we'll look forward to seeing you on Wednesdays and whenever else you have a moment to pop in. \:\) Great idea to get a smaller plate - perception counts, so if it looks like a hearty helping you will def. feel less deprived.

Will BBL but have to get some things done - have to chk for other posts, too, as this has taken ages to post!

lunna, don't worry just post when you can! I know what it's like, it's hard enough just reading some days. Go you with the smaller plate! I find portion control one of my biggest problems.

PK, yes my breadmaker has been busy since I got it at Christmas... not so good for the weight loss though.

Got my exercise in, even had DD joining in

hopefully i'll get a walk in this afternoon. Just made scrummy tomatoe soup, which actually has some sugar in it, but figured that 1/4 of a cup of sugar over an 8ltr of soup isn't too bad ...

hi everyone, busy day here. Lunna, I am the same, try to manage two kids and get on here to keep motivated.

Weekends are quite difficult to keep on track, all these tempting foods. Mmmmm Custard and fruit salad, that doesn't sound too unhealthy.

I Have to go to a meeting and theres BYO dinner with the family afterwards. Usually people get fish and chips. Not sure what to do. I might just go for a piece of crumbed fish and only have a couple of chips. I try to be extra good over the weekend.

I have just finished my daily sit ups \:\) and will continue with some excersise as it's housecleaning time. I'm sure vacuuming and running around doing the cleaning will count as exercise?

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Rashika - sorry to hear about your cold! Get better soon!

sunflower- the BYO dinner sounds good! Crumbed fish is definitely better than battered, calorie-wise. Your exercise will help offset the extra calories, too - housework definitely counts (which explains why I have so much to lose - I'm a terrible housewife! LOL)

We've just had sushi bento boxes for dinner - hope I haven't overdone the calories too much. Had a small portion of chicken teriyaki without the rice (teriyaki is sugary but it wasn't doused in sauce), a couple of bites of tempura prawn/veg but left most of it, a green salad and a small sushi roll. The overall portion size was probably larger than ideal and of course the fried stuff wasn't good, but it was a good deal less than I'd usually have had, so I feel slightly virtuous just because of that! Now hoping that my concessions don't come back and bite me in my substantial behind!

Movie time - Friday night here!
ttfn

I've finished the housework and we've had dinner DD2 is fast asleep and DH is reading DD1 a story. Tracy Saturday is usually my only day I can attempt to undertake any substantial housework here. Both girls were very tired. We went to the vegetable market in the morning and walked quite a bit. This usually tires them out and they are asleep in an instant. I didn't really count the walking to and from the market as exercise but I guess any walking is better than nothing.

I think I had quite a good day food wise and hope it will help to offset tomorrow's fish and chips. I definitely put an order in for crumbed fish.

Now I only have to survive the evening without feeling like I need a sweet treat. I might make myself a milo before I sit down and do some reading.

Tracy enjoy your movie \:\)

Thanks, Sunflower - it was Quantum of Solace and aside from dh and I both having to confer at times to figure out what just happened (fogeys - LOL!), it was good fun. Had some low-fat popcorn (measured out ahead of time) and finished off with my two squares of dark choc. Yum! Will try to keep my eating on the straight and narrow this weekend, though, because of my sushi box treat.

I like having a Wednesday weigh-in because it gives me the chance to work at it all over the weekend but also a few days afterwards to ensure that I get back on track if the weekend hasn't been ideal (seeing as that's when we do most socializing, so sometimes will eat out or at someone else's house, etc).

Hope you're all having a great weekend!

Yeah wednesday isn't bad really for all those reasons you mentioned!

Pretty okay here today, worse bit was a couple of dates/dried fruit (which I love but it is not good for me), rest was pretty good. Cold making me feel a bit low, but I managed to get out with DP and Toren and the 2 dogs for a walk to the park.. perked me up a bit.

Think I will hit the sack very soon, DP is attempting to put T to sleep as we speak, with practice he will improve I keep telling him!

lots of tomatoe soup for me today, lunch and dinner - worst was the muffins our guest bought (would have been rude not to eat one ((or two)) ... and the shortbread.

Very tired, having issues with feeding B at hte moment, so finding it a bit stressful. Went for a walk with G, but walking at toddler pace isn't very good exercise.

Hi everyone! Gosh you have all been so good. I was BAD this afternoon - friends for dinner and they brought heaps of dessert. My strategy to cut out on sweet stuff is just not to buy it (even for DS1) or I will scoff it. So needless to say tonight I went mad and ate lots LOL.

I had great intentions too to go for a walk - and the only trackies I had clean were dungy old ones with paint on them. So off I went with the boys in the car to park somewhere to walk safely (our road isn't safe for walking). And where I parked in town they had a big thing there for kids - with a helicopter, fire engines, police, ambo etc. So I spent an hour and a half walking around that with the kids instead LOL. But how could I resist with DS1 continually saying "babababa" (his word for helicopter).

But the funny thing is....here I was in my dungy old scungy clothes - and a journalist took our farking photo for the local rag! I didn't realise until she got our details - I was mortified LOL. Hopefully she got some better ones so she doesn't put us in the paper. Not only will I look like I crawled out of a hole, but everyone will see me looking like fatty arbuckle too. (I know a heap of ppl in this area due to my previous job when I was slim LOL).

Sunflower - forgot to say - photography is more of a hobby than anything, but I am planning on it being more than that and am just getting my website up and running. Ask away and I will help if I can!

PK, okay now I want the tomato soup recipe as well!

Here's our stats page:

Let me know if I have anything wrong/missing. BellaB, maybe you could get Tasha to include the link in with the tickers?

Tomato soup - was pan full of tomatoes (chopped, i don't peel them or anything)(think it's an 8ltr pan) 2 green capcicums, two heaped teaspoons garlic, good dollop of sweet thai chilli sauce, probably about 1/4 cup white sugar ... boiled it up, whizzed it with the stick mixer, tasted it, then added grinds of salt/pepper and about a tsp of curry powder.
