Hi,
I made a baby chick for my 1 year old's birthday.
Here is the photo:

Hard work, but I think it turned out okay in the end.

hey there
My twins are turning 2 this month, and i am making a winnie the pooh cake and elmo cake, though only doing the heads, i have traced picutres from there books and got my dad to blow them up on his photo copier, and then i am going to cut it out on card board and carefully cut around it and the cake, all hoping to goes well!
So i have a question, what kind of colour do you buy, i am going to need red and yellow and a wee bit of orange (for elmos eyes i am going to use gaint mashmellows! and licorice for the outside and lines of both cakes!
So its best not to buy the colour from the super market ah?
For the girls fist birthday, my mum baked them and i decorated them with loads of lollies and put a P on one cake and an S on the other, sorry i can't upload a photo, this year i will try though, coz i am not an artist, she just made 2 banana cakes. This year she is baking a choco cake for one and the i am going to try a marble cake for the other.
So anyway the best icing?
