Thanks everyone. AK - that's a nice rewrite but one problem....I do not encourage a close relationship between my girls and my dad as they are never to be alone with him and I worry if they are close to him when they are older, it's going to be too

I think the longer you leave the letter, the harder it is to send. I write a lot of letters and find they are a good way to get my feelings sorted and even if I don't send them, I feel better for having written them. I personally would wait unitl h

I like F&R's comments re the heating, that is a good consideration. Seeing the photos though House 1 is GORGEOUS, I like living in a real homely feeling house if that makes sense and I feel much more settled and at ease when I feel that about m

I actually like the he look of house number 2 much better.... it just looks tidier/cleaner to me? But then again... I don't like a lot of trees.... I HATE cleaning leaves out of gutters and sweeping them up from around the doors all the time...

It's really hard to comment without knowing your dad and the dynamic that you have with him. With my family, your email would be fine. It'd make someone angry (understandable. no one likes being told off) but then we'd all get over it and move on. I

I haven't really even talked to MW yet about birth plan but have talked to hubby and think a water/home birth is likely to be on the cards aslong as I get to 36 weeks and baby is well and not breech. Don't really want to deliver another breech baby

Ask for a lemonade, or lemon lime and bitters with a slice of lemon in it. Looks like a gin and tonic. Or apple juice in a wine glass? I'd use the sober driver argument. Even with a close venue, you have every right not to have to fork out for a tax
